Hilong Initiates Mid- and Senior-Level Management MBA Training Program

Date 2014-08-01

The first phase of courses of the Hilong Internal MBA Training Program was held from July 26 to July 27 at Shanghai headquarters. This forms part of the “Hilong Group 2014 Annual Training Plan”, and marks the systemization and institutionalization of the Group’s mid- and senior-level management talent cultivation.

The Hilong MBA Training Program primarily targets the Group’s mid- and senior-level management and is based on the MBA course systems of nine renowned institutions in China and abroad including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, and Jiao Tong University. The program investigations incorporate learners’ training requirement to integrate and complete the Group’s MBA course system, which is divided into 7 major modules such as organizational behavior and leadership, economics and finance, human resource management, and legal affairs. The training program is based on the functional positioning for the participating managers, placing a focus on consolidation of learners’ understanding of system management through class education, management practice, and thesis defense, all of which improve response to business challenges and leadership capabilities.

“The implementation of the Hilong Internal MBA Training Program will comprehensively and systematically improve management knowledge and abilities of our core management team, continually expanding horizons and updating thinking,” said Hilong Executive President Wang Tao during the class commencement ceremony. “Talent training and development is an integral long-term strategy for Hilong. We will continue to invest and exert efforts in these areas as we rely on talent strategy to promote rapid and healthy development of the enterprise and achieve the set objective of a ‘Second Startup’.”

The “Hilong Group 2014 Annual Training Plan” covers management talent, professional technical talent and sales talent. In addition to the internal MBA training program, order-based training and newly promoted core management staff training will be incorporated into the management talent team training program.
